Young Pianist Zeke Walters Champions Alzheimer's Research With His Music

At the tender age of eight, Zeke Walters is already making waves not just with his musical talent but also through his philanthropic efforts. This young piano prodigy is using his skills to support a cause dear to him - the Alzheimer's Association. His journey into the world of music and charity began at the Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center, a facility managed by Sinceri Senior Living, where his mother holds the position of administrator.

Zeke's exposure to the residents of Walnut Creek and their interactions with music sparked a realization in him about the power of melodies in reviving memories for those suffering from Alzheimer's disease. "Miraculously, even though there is disease, it kind of wipes out their memory, there's still one thing they can still remember: music," Zeke shared. Motivated by this insight, he embarked on a mission to spread joy through his piano performances.

In addition to performing, Zeke has taken a significant step towards contributing to Alzheimer's research. He actively participates in Walnut Creek’s annual "Walk to End Alzheimer's." This year, he aims to amplify his impact by hosting a fundraising event at the Pie Pan Restaurant on March 23rd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., inviting the community to support the cause.
