The introduction of innovative tools and technology, along with a refined approach to trailer loading known as the Zero-Defect Method Plus (ZDM+), has significantly improved service quality.

Since the implementation of these strategies, XPO has seen a 70% improvement in service quality and now boasts a damage claims ratio that ranks among the best in the logistics industry. The ZDM+ has revolutionized the way trailers are loaded at XPO, incorporating several key features:

The proprietary SafeStack system divides the trailer into two levels, reducing the need for double stacking and minimizing freight movement during transit. By using cardboard or dunnage between the SafeStack beams and pallets, the system ensures that freight is securely settled, leading to more damage-free, on-time deliveries.

XPO has also introduced new ratchet straps that secure freight tightly against trailer walls, preventing any shifting or movement. Made from durable materials, these straps are designed to withstand heavy loads and tough transit conditions, offering an extra layer of protection.

Dunnage Airbags
