Support Cancer Charities At WOMAC's 2024 Annual Party In London

Tickets are now on sale for the highly anticipated Women On the Move Against Cancer (WOMAC) 2024 fundraiser, set to take place on Wednesday, 17 April, in a prestigious venue within London's West End. This annual event is a cornerstone for WOMAC, bringing together friends and colleagues not just for an evening of socializing with drinks and light bites but for a cause that touches many - supporting cancer charities. This year, the event shines a spotlight on two exceptional charities: the Oesophageal Patients Association (OPA) and Cure Leukaemia.

Both charities have been selected for their significant contributions to supporting individuals and their families through the challenges of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. OPA has been at the forefront of battling oesophageal and gastric cancers for over three decades, providing invaluable support and raising awareness. Meanwhile, Cure Leukaemia has been instrumental since its inception in 2003 in enabling patients within the Birmingham region, and now nationally, to access pioneering treatments.

WOMAC 2024 Charity Party

The evening promises an array of enticing tombola and raffle prizes, from branded merchandise and car loans to weekend getaways, all generously donated by WOMAC's supporters. Georgia Fox, Chair of WOMAC, expressed her enthusiasm for hosting the 2024 party at another iconic London venue, emphasizing the importance of community support in combating cancer's increasing impact.

For those interested in attending this noteworthy event or wishing to contribute to the cause through prize donations, please reach out to Georgia Fox at [email protected]. Additionally, ticket purchases can be made via Eventbrite, and donations are welcome through WOMAC's JustGiving page.

Since its establishment in 1979 by a group of female volunteers from the automotive industry, WOMAC has been dedicated to supporting cancer research, treatment improvements, and enhancing the quality of life for those affected by cancer.
