Volkswagen Secures Triple Victory At 2023 Business Motoring Awards

Volkswagen is riding high on the wave of success following the latest Business Motoring Awards, where it clinched multiple accolades for its electric vehicles. The Volkswagen ID.3 emerged as the Best Small Electric Vehicle, priced below £30,000 on-the-road, marking a significant achievement for the brand. This year is particularly special for Volkswagen as the Golf, an iconic model celebrating its 50th anniversary, received high praise in the Best Medium Car category. Adding to the celebration, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles celebrated a win with the ID. Buzz being named Best Large Electric Vehicle in the £45,001+ category.

The Business Motoring Awards, now in their 10th year, are recognized for their independent and expert judgment from an automotive industry panel alongside the Business Motoring editorial team. These awards spotlight superior products and services catering to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which represent a substantial segment of nearly six million UK businesses in 2023.

Owen Shepherd, Head of Direct Sales at Volkswagen UK, expressed pride in the brand's offerings, especially for businesses transitioning to electric vehicles. Shepherd highlighted Volkswagen's broad portfolio including the newest models like the ID.7 and ID.7 Tourer, as well as the Passat and Tiguan eHybrid versions, emphasizing their appeal to businesses of various sizes.
