Mike Greene, Senior Vice President of Network Planning and Transportation at PECO, lauded Venture Logistics for achieving the highest evaluation score among their line-haul service partners in 2023. The Carrier of the Year program by PECO is designed to objectively evaluate carriers based on several key performance metrics. These include equipment quality and availability, on-time performance, delivery updates, invoicing timeliness, safety standards, data quality, proactive communications, and overall customer support. Additional considerations for the award include carriers' initiatives for cost reduction, FMCSA CSA scores, and efforts towards continuous improvement.
