U.S. Polo Assn. Named Finalist For Best Sports Licensed Brand At 2024 Licensing International Excellence Awards
U.S. Polo Assn., the official brand of the United States Polo Association (USPA), has been nominated as a finalist for Best Sports Licensed Brand at the 2024 Licensing International Excellence Awards. This annual event in Las Vegas honours brands that employ innovative and creative marketing strategies globally. Winners in 32 categories were chosen from nearly 200 finalists by an expert panel from 20 countries and voted on by the licensing industry.
With over 800 entries, U.S. Polo Assn. stands among notable brands such as Formula 1, NASCAR, the NFL Players Association, 24H LE MANS, and Yale University in the Best Sports Licensed Brand category. J. Michael Prince, President and CEO of USPA Global, expressed pride in the nomination, highlighting the brand's record growth through strategic partnerships and award-winning marketing campaigns.

U.S. Polo Assn. achieved $2.4 billion in global retail sales in 2023 and expanded its presence to 190 countries with 1,100 retail stores and numerous wholesale locations and e-commerce platforms. The brand also saw record e-commerce growth with around 50 brand sites in 20 languages and over 8 million social media followers.
The brand's multi-year deal with ESPN has significantly increased exposure to premier polo championships worldwide. Additionally, USPA now owns the USPA National Polo Center (NPC) in Palm Beach County, North America's premier polo destination, with U.S. Polo Assn. as the lead sponsor.
