Universal CityWalk Hollywood Welcomes New Universal Monsters Store
Universal City, CA, has unveiled a new attraction that is sure to captivate fans of classic horror and cinema. The Universal Monsters Store, now open at Production Central in Universal CityWalk Hollywood, pays homage to the iconic figures of horror—Frankenstein’s Monster, The Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolf Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Mummy, and others. These characters have long stood as symbols of the misunderstood and the outsider, making their stories resonate deeply with audiences across generations.
The store is ingeniously divided into four themed sections: a tomb, a gothic cathedral, a laboratory, and outdoor woods. These areas not only serve as immersive photo backdrops for guests but also house a diverse range of merchandise. Visitors can explore and purchase apparel, accessories, magnets, keychains, drinkware, toys, and other collectibles inspired by the Universal Pictures’ classic monsters.

To enhance the shopping experience, movie props and décor are strategically placed throughout the store. Aged pine boxes resembling coffins replace traditional retail display tables, and a paver pattern designed to mimic cobblestone adorns the floor, reminiscent of Old Europe's outdoor stonework paths. This attention to detail ensures that each section of the store seamlessly blends into the next, creating a cohesive and engaging environment for guests.
Located adjacent to The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen and the popular Universal Cinema, an AMC Theater, the Universal Monsters Store joins a lineup of esteemed CityWalk establishments. These include NBC Sports Grill & Brew, Antojitos Cocina Mexicana, VIVO Italian Kitchen, Firehouse Subs, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, The Habit Burger Grill, and Voodoo Doughnut.
