Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Meets India PM Modi In New Delhi, Discusses Strengthening Of Bilateral Relations
His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown of Abu Dhabi, on Monday met with India Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the strategic relations between the UAE and India. The meeting aimed to explore ways to enhance mutual interests.
The reception for Sheikh Khaled and his delegation was hosted by Prime Minister Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. During this event, both leaders reviewed the bilateral relations within their strategic partnership framework.
Strengthening Bilateral Relations
They discussed methods to further strengthen and advance alliances, building on ongoing progress in various cooperation fields. This effort aims to benefit both nations and their peoples.
Sheikh Khaled conveyed greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He also wished the Prime Minister good health and prosperity for India and its people.

Several strategic agreements were announced during this meeting under the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). These agreements cover priority areas in both public and private sectors, ensuring comprehensive economic cooperation aspirations are met.
ADNOC signed a 15-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) Heads of Agreement with IndianOil for 1 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa) of LNG. This will primarily be sourced from ADNOC's lower-carbon Ruwais LNG project.
Additionally, ADNOC entered a strategic framework agreement with Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserve Limited. This agreement extends their existing oil storage arrangement, supporting India's energy security.
ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based investment company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Gujarat's government. They plan to develop a major food and agriculture park featuring state-of-the-art technologies in India.
The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation partnered with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India. This partnership provides a formal framework for sharing knowledge and expertise across all nuclear energy development areas.
This collaboration highlights the UAE's leading nuclear capabilities, recognised by the International Atomic Energy Agency as a global benchmark for new nuclear nations worldwide.
