Tongcheng Travel Announces Record Revenue And Profit Growth In 2023

In a significant financial achievement, Tongcheng Travel Holdings Limited has disclosed its audited consolidated results for the year ending December 31, 2023. Demonstrating substantial financial growth, the company's revenues soared to an impressive RMB11.9 billion, marking an 80.7% increase from the previous year. This surge in revenue was accompanied by a notable rise in adjusted EBITDA, which climbed by 117.4% to reach RMB3.12 billion. Furthermore, the adjusted net profit experienced a substantial boost, escalating by 240.3% to RMB2.2 billion. Breaking down the revenue streams, transportation ticketing services witnessed a 78.5% increase to RMB6.03 billion, while accommodation reservation services saw a 61.5% rise to RMB3.90 billion. Additionally, revenue from other services, including tourism and advertising services, surged by 148.6% to RMB1.97 billion.

The company's strategic initiatives have not only led to financial growth but also expanded its user base significantly. The average monthly paying users increased by 39.1% to 41.3 million, with annual paying users growing by 25.2% to 234.7 million.
