This collaboration is set to bring innovative technology integrations as part of the terminal's redevelopment efforts. Over the last 11 months, STRATACACHE has been instrumental in deploying a variety of technologies at the terminal, with plans for further advancements on the horizon.

March 2023 marked the beginning of JFKIAT's collaboration with Scala, a subsidiary of STRATACACHE, focusing on the pre-security area of Terminal 4. The Scala professional services team has been deeply involved in every aspect of digital signage innovation, from project discovery and infrastructure needs assessment to creative development. Remarkably, within just two months, the first set of digital displays were up and running.

Tech Revamp at JFK Terminal 4

The partnership's primary goal is to elevate the passenger journey and establish new benchmarks within the industry. The initial phase of digital enhancements at Terminal 4 includes digital video walls, end cap displays, wayfinding totems with directional messaging, outdoor curbside displays, and the Scala Airport Operations Portal. Additionally, Scala's digital signage media players are now securely delivering content across 69 endpoint displays.
