New STR Behavioral Health Campus Enhances Mental Health Services In Pennsylvania
Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a prominent provider of addiction, mental health, and eating disorder treatment, has announced the opening of STR Behavioral Health’s Cedar Creek campus. This 30-bed residential treatment facility aims to address Pennsylvania’s growing need for high-quality mental health services. The new campus signifies a major step in Odyssey's mission to improve the accessibility and quality of mental health care.
STR Behavioral Health operates Silver Pines, which offers residential and detoxification services, along with outpatient facilities in Eastern Pennsylvania. These facilities are licensed to treat both primary addiction and mental health disorders. Cedar Creek is STR Behavioral Health’s first residential facility in Pennsylvania dedicated solely to primary mental health treatment.

According to recent data from the National Alliance on Mental Illness, nearly 20% of adults in Pennsylvania have a mental health condition. Additionally, 39.8% of adults report symptoms of anxiety or depression, and 447,000 adults have a serious mental illness. Despite these numbers, 25.7% of those reporting mental health symptoms were unable to receive needed therapy.
"Pennsylvania has experienced an increase in demand for high-quality residential treatment services for those with a mental health condition," said Richard Clark, CEO of Odyssey. "STR Behavioral Health addresses these needs directly through the opening of their Cedar Creek campus, and we’re proud to offer these sub-acute services for adults."
Cedar Creek is located on 13 acres in Bucks County, just 30 miles outside of Philadelphia. The facility is designed with intimate and personalized care in mind, offering an ideal client-to-clinician ratio for individualized attention and support. Known for its holistic approach to care, the campus features a dedicated wellness centre set on expansive grounds.
