Škoda Announces UK Pricing For New Superb Model With Advanced Features

Škoda has officially opened orders for the eagerly awaited fourth-generation Superb in the UK, setting the starting price at £34,865 ($48,550) for the hatch version and £36,165 for the estate variant. Prospective buyers can look forward to taking delivery of their new vehicles starting June. This latest iteration of the Superb brings to the table an array of enhancements including a more spacious interior and a sleeker design. Notably, the estate model boasts a luggage capacity of 690 litres, while the hatch model offers 645 litres.

The Superb's powertrain lineup has seen significant expansion, now featuring three petrol engines, two diesel options, and an upgraded plug-in hybrid variant capable of delivering an electric range exceeding 62 miles. Additionally, this marks the debut of mild hybrid technology in the Superb series. Škoda has made available three trim levels for this model: SE Technology, SE L, and Laurin & Klement.

The entry-level SE Technology trim is priced from £34,865 for the hatch and £36,165 for the estate. It includes a comprehensive suite of features such as a 13-inch central infotainment display, integrated Sat Nav, a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and keyless start/stop functionality. The mid-range SE L trim starts at £38,220 for the hatch and £39,520 for the estate, offering additional luxuries like 18-inch alloy wheels, LED matrix beam headlights, and an advanced massage function for the front seats.

At the top end of the spectrum is the Laurin & Klement model, with prices beginning at £46,100 for the hatch and £47,400 for the estate. This premium trim level features 18-inch alloy wheels, a dark chrome grille surround, and a high-quality CANTON sound system among its exclusive offerings.

The new Superb is equipped with cutting-edge technology and convenience features including a free-standing infotainment display, Škoda Smart Dials, and voice assistant Laura. It also supports wireless mobile charging and provides ventilated smartphone charging options alongside ergonomically designed Ergo seats with massage cushions.

Produced in Škoda's new manufacturing facility in Bratislava, the Superb is available in a variety of new colors such as Pure White, Ice Tea Yellow, Midnight Black, Pebble Silver, Cobalt Blue, and Carmine Red. The vehicle continues to build on its reputation as a comfortable and spacious car while introducing innovative features and design elements.
