A notable feature of the new Octavia is the incorporation of ChatGPT into its Laura voice assistant, marking a significant step in integrating advanced technology into the driving experience. Later in the year, production of the Octavia will shift to the Kvasiny plant, enabling the Mladá Boleslav site to concentrate on manufacturing other models such as the Enyaq, Enyaq Coupé, and Elroq.
Since its introduction in 1996, the Octavia has achieved remarkable sales of 7.5 million units, establishing it as a cornerstone of the Škoda brand. The latest model boasts an increased use of sustainable materials within its interior components like seats, dashboard, and door trims. It also features enhanced technology offerings, including a standard 10-inch infotainment system and safety measures such as Collision Avoidance Assist, Turn Assist, and Exit Warning. The Octavia is available in Sportline and vRS versions, with the latter equipped with a powerful 2.0 TSI engine that produces 195 kW (265 PS).
