Singapore To Host The Grand FHA-Food & Beverage Trade Show In April 2024
FHA-Food & Beverage, the largest food and beverage trade show in Singapore, has announced its return from 23-26 April 2024 at the Singapore EXPO. Spanning 65,000 square meters and featuring 70 international pavilions from 50 countries, the event is set to welcome over 1,500 exhibitors and an anticipated 60,000 attendees. This edition will highlight Germany as the Country of Honour, reflecting the strong bilateral relations and economic collaborations between Germany and Singapore, particularly in the food and beverage sector.
In a significant move, FHA-Food & Beverage has partnered with The German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture to feature Germany as the Country of Honour. This collaboration is underscored by the strategic signing of the Joint Declaration in 2022, emphasizing sustainability and free trade. With over one billion euros in German food and drinks exports to Southeast Asian countries, Singapore stands out as a key market. The Germany Pavilion will host 37 exhibitors, offering attendees a chance to engage with "German Day" presentations, wine-food pairings, and cooking shows.

Responding to the growing demand for meat in Singapore, which is expected to reach 502,400 tonnes by 2026, FHA-Food & Beverage will launch its first-ever FHA Ultimate Meat Challenge. Sponsored by Meat & Livestock Australia, this competition invites professional butchers and chefs to showcase their skills with beef and lamb on 24th & 25th April. The event aims not only to highlight culinary excellence but also to educate consumers and promote beef and lamb consumption.
Fostering Innovation and Talent
The FHA Beer Awards returns for its second edition, celebrating the diversity and creativity within the brewing industry across 10 categories. Similarly, the Young Talents Escoffier – Singapore Selection offers a platform for culinary talents under the age of 25 to demonstrate their skills. For the first time, participants will be accredited by a panel of Michelin chefs in both kitchen and service categories, featuring notable names such as Emmanuel Stroobant of Saint Pierre and Jeremy Gillon of JAG.
FHA-Food & Beverage 2024 aims to serve as the ultimate one-stop platform for Asia's F&B professionals by covering 12 core segments that range from gastronomic innovations to sustainable practices. Ms. Janice Lee, Event Director - Food, Hong Kong & Singapore at Informa Markets expressed excitement over hosting the event again in Singapore, highlighting its role as a key business event for connecting international suppliers with buyers across Asia.
With a history spanning 46 years, FHA-Food & Beverage continues to adapt to evolving trends in the food industry, cementing its position as a leading international food trade fair that showcases Singapore's culinary diversity at the global stage.
