Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Represents UAE At Inauguration Of Pope Leo XIV In Vatican Ceremony
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, on behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV as the new leader of the Catholic Church. This event took place at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City, Rome, with numerous global leaders and dignitaries present.
His Highness Sheikh Saud expressed President Sheikh Mohamed's congratulations to Pope Leo XIV on his appointment by the College of Cardinals. He wished the Pope success in promoting peace, coexistence, and intercultural dialogue while strengthening relationships among different faiths and communities.
