Rosario Avila Recognized For Her Role In Promoting Diversity Within The Insurance Industry

Arrow Benefits Group, a prominent benefits consulting firm in North Bay, has announced that Rosario Avila, Senior Benefits Advisor and Spanish Language Division Lead, is a finalist for the BenefitsPRO 2024 Advisor of the Year award. Avila will also be a special guest panelist at this year's National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP) conference.

The Advisor of the Year awards recognise top benefits advisors who are leading by example and innovating within the industry. These professionals work to enrich their local communities and help clients manage costs effectively. Avila has been a pioneer in her field for over two decades. Avila leads Alianza, Arrow Benefits Group's dedicated Spanish Language Division team of eight members. This division serves a highly valuable yet historically underserved demographic. The panel will focus on translating benefits packages to be inclusive, with an emphasis on mental health resources and identifying hidden inequities within standard benefits. Avila will join esteemed panelists to delve into these complexities.
