Quality Property And Facility Management Award 2024: Call For Nominations

The Quality Property and Facility Management Award 2024 (QPFMA 2024) has been officially unveiled in Hong Kong, marking a significant moment for the property and facility management (PFM) sector. This prestigious biennial award, organized by The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors - Property and Facility Management Division (HKIS-PFMD) and The Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies Limited (HKAPMC), is designed to acknowledge and encourage outstanding PFM services. This year's theme, "Professional PFM Services Establishing a Wellness Harmony Community," underscores the vital role of PFM in fostering community well-being and enhancing the living experience.

In an innovative move, QPFMA 2024 introduces a "Community Housing" category, focusing on the evaluation of social housing projects. This category aims to assess public rental housing and subsidised sales housing projects based on health culture, safety quality, community inclusion, occupant belonging, and experience. Additionally, a "Theme Award" will be presented to the project that most effectively promotes wellness harmony within the community. Other categories include residential, non-residential, and refurbishment/renovation, with excellence and merit recognitions across the board.

QPFMA 2024 Nominations Open

To ensure a comprehensive and fair evaluation process, QPFMA 2024 has assembled a diverse jury panel comprising industry leaders from architecture, surveying, planning, landscape, and property management backgrounds. The nomination period is currently open and will run until May 3, 2024. Participants who submit their nominations by April 16, 2024, can avail of early bird discounts. The award's timeline includes site visits, finalists' presentations to the jury panel cum conference, culminating in the award presentation ceremony scheduled for October 2024.

The QPFMA 2024 aims not only to celebrate excellence in PFM but also to elevate service standards across the industry. By advocating for professionalism and showcasing the hard work of industry professionals, the award seeks to inspire learning and collaboration among peers. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to making Hong Kong a better place to live by emphasizing the importance of wellness and well-being in community development.

For those interested in participating or seeking more information about submission guidelines, judging criteria, and the nomination process, further details are available on the QPFMA website.
