Plume Establishes First Hyderabad Office To Support Global Expansion And R&D

HYDERABAD, India and PALO ALTO, Calif., March 18, 2024 – In a strategic move to bolster its global presence, Plume®, the pioneer behind the world's inaugural SaaS experience platform tailored for communications service providers (CSPs), has inaugurated its first office in India, situated in Hyderabad. This new establishment marks Plume's tenth office globally and signifies a major step towards enhancing its collaboration with CSPs in the region and internationally. The Hyderabad office is set to be a hub for research and development, focusing on a wide array of technical disciplines such as software engineering, data engineering, DevOps, and quality assurance (QA).

Leading the charge at the new facility is Shrinivas Bairi, appointed as Vice President and Site Leader. Bairi brings a wealth of experience from his previous leadership roles at renowned technology firms including Intel and Qualcomm. This expansion comes on the heels of Plume's announcement last year of a partnership with telecom giant Reliance Jio, aimed at reaching over 200 million homes across India. "Opening an office in Hyderabad is part of our commitment to growing this relationship and further expanding our local market presence is key to our long-term vision," stated Kiran Edara, Plume's Chief Development Officer.
