Players Health To Host First Youth Sports Health & Safety Summit In 2024

Players Health, a prominent advocate for the safety and accessibility of youth sports, is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural Youth Sports Health & Safety Summit. Scheduled from August 5-7, 2024, at the renowned Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota, this summit represents a significant milestone in the Players Health Summit Series. This series of events, initiated earlier this year, aims to educate and motivate individuals across the sports sector on vital health and safety topics. The summit is designed to equip sports stakeholders, including coaches, parents, administrators, and healthcare professionals, with essential knowledge and tools to improve the welfare of young athletes.

The keynote address at the Youth Sports Health & Safety Summit will be delivered by Rachael Denhollander, a respected advocate for survivors of sexual abuse, lawyer, and former gymnast. Denhollander will share her expertise on creating safe sports environments. The event will also feature talks from notable figures such as Izell Reese, CEO of RCX Sports; Skip Gilbert, CEO of US Youth Soccer; and Dr. Bert Mandelbaum, team physician for the US National Soccer teams among others.
