Papé Material Handling Opens Advanced Facility In Concord, Boosting Local Service Capabilities

Papé Material Handling celebrated the grand opening of its new Concord facility on May 8, 2024. The event featured a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, a BBQ lunch for attendees, and tours of the advanced facility. This expansion marks a notable increase in service capacity and capabilities for handling larger equipment, alongside new support for the Concord community.

"Our new Concord location is a milestone in Papé Material Handling's commitment to providing top-tier service and solutions," said Chris Wetle, President of Papé Material Handling. "With this facility, we're not just expanding our physical footprint; we're elevating the standards of service in the material handling industry."

The facility spans a total drip line of 42,865 square feet, with canopies covering 12,115 square feet and an interior space of 30,750 square feet. It includes racking, guard railing, tool room cage, Overhead Door™ products, and Hanel Lift provided by Engineered Products, a Papé Company.

The new facility features dual 5-ton cranes, larger doors to accommodate bigger equipment, increased operational and storage capacity, enhanced electrical infrastructure, and additional vertical height for future expansion. Initially staffed with 40 employees, the workforce is expected to grow to 55 swiftly.

The grand opening was attended by several local dignitaries, including the mayor and city council members, highlighting the community's support for this development.
