OMD Worldwide Named Best Performing Global Media Network For Seventh Consecutive Year

In a notable achievement within the media industry, Omnicom Media Group's OMD Worldwide has been distinguished as the leading global media network in the latest Network Diagnostics report by RECMA (Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry). This marks the seventh consecutive time over a span of three years that OMD has secured the top position in this prestigious evaluation. The RECMA Diagnostics report, a bi-annual publication, assesses 684 agencies across 45 markets using 19 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure vitality and structure beyond traditional metrics like new business wins or billing volume.

The report highlights OMD's unparalleled performance, noting a significant score differential between OMD and its closest competitor, which mirrors the gap between the second and eighth-ranked agencies. This unique achievement underscores OMD's dominant position in the global media network landscape, with RECMA acknowledging OMD's unmatched leadership and competitive edge.

OMD Leads Global Media for 7th Year

OMD's success is attributed to its excellence in several areas, including competitiveness in new business pitches, client profile, and expertise in digital, data & analytics, and content. The agency continues to lead in the EMEA region, further extending its lead over other networks. Remarkably, OMD is ranked as Dominant in 10 markets globally. Over a three-year period covered by the March 2024 Diagnostics report, OMD stands out as the only agency among the top four of 2021 to have shown growth. Furthermore, looking back over a decade, OMD remains the sole agency from the top rankings of 2014 to have progressed.
