Nissan Group Unveils New Roles In Communications Leadership Team
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In a strategic move to bolster its communications team, Nissan North America has announced significant changes in its leadership structure. Effective April 1, Kyle Bazemore has been appointed as the director of Corporate Communications for Nissan North America. Following in his footsteps, Ashli Bobo will take over his previous role as director of INFINITI Americas Communications. Both Bazemore and Bobo will directly report to Brian Brockman, the vice president of Communications for the U.S. & Canada.
With these appointments, Nissan aims to enhance its storytelling capabilities and strategic communication efforts across North America. "Kyle and Ashli have decades of communications experience which will be key in helping us continue to advance our storytelling for Nissan and INFINITI," Brockman remarked on the new appointments. He further expressed his anticipation for the innovative approaches and leadership qualities they are expected to bring to their respective roles.

In his newly assigned position, Bazemore will be responsible for overseeing various strategic communications areas. These include crisis and risk management, manufacturing and labor communications, digital communications, as well as multicultural and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) topics. Additionally, he will manage corporate social media and executive communications. Bazemore is no stranger to the Nissan family, having been an integral part of the INFINITI communications team for nearly two decades.
Ashli Bobo's transition to director of INFINITI Americas Communications comes after nearly six years of service with Nissan North America. Her tenure at Nissan has seen her involved in multiple corporate and internal roles, most notably as director of Corporate Communications prior to her new appointment. Bobo's experience includes working on numerous cross-functional teams and special project teams. She is also recognized for her role as a co-founder of the Black Employees of Nissan, one of the company's Business Synergy Teams.
