Tech Conference In Kansas City Aims To Shape The Internet Of Tomorrow

The 91st community-wide gathering of the North American Network Operators' Group (NANOG), known as NANOG 91, is set to take place from June 10-12 at Loews Hotel in Kansas City, MO. "There's no other event like this in the industry! NANOG brings together hundreds of engineers working at the internet's core for three days of collaboration, education, inspiration, and innovation in an accessible environment," said Jonathan Black, Executive Director for NANOG.

NANOG 91 will feature notable keynote speakers, including Corey Quinn, Chief Cloud Economist at The Duckbill Group, and Kireeti Kompella, Chief Engineer at AWAN BU, Juniper Networks. Quinn's presentation, titled "TCP Terminates on the Floor: The Ebbing Tide of Networking Expertise," will explore the current state and future of the networking engineering industry. This session is anticipated to be crucial for all attendees.

Kompella will present on "Network Digital Twin" (NDT), discussing its definition, potential forms, instantiation methods, applications, and essential use cases. This presentation aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of NDT and its significance in modern networking.
