Imagine Gala Boosts Child Surgery Care

Dr. Jason Frischer, a pediatric colorectal surgeon from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, received the esteemed MEND Award for his exceptional service and commitment to improving healthcare standards. Dr. Frischer's contributions, especially in Tanzania, have had a profound impact on many lives.

The gala also featured a moving account from former patient Heber Carias, who shared his journey of overcoming a severe injury through the compassionate care provided by Mending Kids. His story highlighted the organization's critical role in transforming the lives of children and their families.
