McLaren Automotive Appoints Jochen Schnez As Chief Quality Officer
McLaren Automotive, a renowned producer of ultra high-performance, lightweight supercars, has announced the appointment of Jochen Schnez as its new Chief Quality Officer. Starting April 1, 2024, Schnez brings over two decades of experience from his tenure at Mercedes-Benz to the role. With a rich background that includes leading over 300 personnel across various production units at Mercedes-Benz's Bremen facility, Schnez's expertise spans both high and low volume product lines. His career also includes service as an Officer in the Naval Armed Forces, complemented by an academic foundation with a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Armed Forces.
Based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey, Schnez will report directly to McLaren Automotive CEO Michael Leiters.
