Mazda Makes MX-30 Electric Vehicle More Affordable With Price Cuts And Finance Offers

Mazda has recently unveiled a significant price reduction for its MX-30 battery electric vehicle (BEV), alongside launching a new finance campaign aimed at enhancing affordability for potential buyers. The MX-30 BEV's starting price has been lowered to £27,995, marking a decrease of over £3,000 from its previous listing. This adjustment positions the Prime-Line model at the forefront of Mazda's electric offerings, with the Exclusive-Line and Makoto models following closely at £29,995 and £32,395 respectively.

In an effort to further entice customers, Mazda is introducing a 0% APR PCP finance option complemented by a generous £6,000 deposit contribution. Additionally, retail purchasers of the MX-30 BEV will benefit from a complimentary Pod Point home charger, enhancing the overall value proposition of Mazda's electric vehicle (EV) lineup.

Mazda UK highlights the MX-30 as an ideal solution for individuals seeking a secondary vehicle or one that caters to shorter-range commuting needs. This recommendation is based on data indicating that the average daily mileage for Mazda owners in the UK stands at merely 26 miles. The MX-30 BEV distinguishes itself with an array of high-quality standard features including LED headlights, a reversing camera, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Intelligent Speed Assist, integrated navigation, and a head-up display.

The vehicle is equipped with both a Type 2 AC charging cable and a DC rapid charging socket, facilitating a swift recharge from 20% to 80% capacity in just 36 minutes. The MX-30 BEV's interior design is notable for its sustainability and distinctiveness, featuring cork-lined centre console trays and door handles crafted from materials that integrate fibres derived from recycled plastic bottles. Its exterior design is crafted to convey solidity and beauty, with freestyle doors and a framed glasshouse that subtly suggests the spaciousness within.

Driving dynamics of the MX-30 BEV are enhanced by the Electric G-Vectoring Control Plus (e-GVC Plus), which aims to provide an intuitive driving experience by improving chassis performance. Alongside the MX-30 BEV, Mazda has also adjusted the pricing for its MX-30 R-EV plug-in hybrid variant, now starting at £31,495. With these strategic price adjustments and the introduction of appealing finance options, Mazda UK anticipates attracting a broad spectrum of customers to its MX-30 range.
