Max's New Drama 'THE PITT' Starring Noah Wyle To Explore Healthcare Challenges
Max has officially announced a 15-episode, straight-to-series order for "THE PITT," a new drama that will star and be executive produced by Noah Wyle, a five-time Emmy Award nominee known for his roles in "ER," "The Librarian" franchise, and "Falling Skies." The series, set to delve into the lives of healthcare workers in modern-day America, will see Emmy nominee R. Scott Gemmill of "NCIS: Los Angeles," "ER," and "JAG" fame taking the reins as showrunner. This project marks a collaboration between John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
The series aims to offer a realistic examination of the myriad challenges faced by healthcare professionals in today's United States. Set against the backdrop of a contemporary hospital in Pittsburgh, "THE PITT" promises to bring to light the heroic efforts of frontline medical workers.
