Maserati Appoints Maurizio Zuares As New Chief Commercial Officer

Maserati has officially announced the appointment of Maurizio Zuares as its new Chief Commercial Officer, set to take his position on January 1, 2025. Zuares will be stepping into the role previously held by Luca Delfino, who is departing the company to explore new ventures. Maserati has expressed its profound appreciation for Delfino's significant contributions and dedication throughout his service.

Maurizio Zuares is not new to the automotive industry, having developed a rich career that crosses international boundaries. His journey began at Ford in Italy, where he quickly progressed through ranks in Sales and Brand Management. His tenure with the Fiat Group's Automotive Division since 1999 saw him undertake various leadership roles in sales and marketing across numerous markets.

Notably, Zuares has been at the helm as President of Fiat Auto Japan, International Sales Director, Managing Director for Spain, CEO of FCA France, and Head of the Middle East. Before his current appointment, he was overseeing Business Centers Operations for the EMEA region at Stellantis, showcasing his capability to manage operations across multiple regions.

Maurizio's appointment is a strategic move by Maserati to bolster its leadership team with experienced professionals who share the brand's vision and values. His extensive background is expected to play a pivotal role in driving Maserati's growth and enhancing its position on the global stage.

Zuares holds a degree in Business and Management, along with an MBA in Economics, Finance, and Administration from the Universitá degli Studi di Ancona and Istao Institute, Italy, equipping him with the educational background to match his extensive experience.
