Thousands Gather For Lisa Vanderpump’s 7th World Dog Day Celebration

On a sunny Saturday, May 11th, 2024, the streets of West Hollywood, California, were filled with the joyous barks and wagging tails of over 2,000 dogs and their owners. The occasion was the seventh annual "World Dog Day," an event dedicated to celebrating our canine companions and raising awareness about the issues of dog abuse and mistreatment across the globe. Hosted by Lisa Vanderpump, Ken Todd, and The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, and presented by NutriSource Pet Foods, this outdoor extravaganza drew attention not only from the local community but also from pet lovers and celebrities alike.

The event was co-sponsored by The City of West Hollywood and featured a plethora of activities designed for dogs and their human friends. Attendees enjoyed the presence of over 45 pet-centered vendors, live entertainment, and a special Doggy Adoption area managed by Auctane. Lisa Vanderpump, the founder of The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, expressed her heartfelt joy and the importance of such an event. She highlighted the Foundation's significant achievements since its inception in 2016, including the rescue and rehoming of nearly 3,000 dogs and their efforts to combat the dog meat trade internationally.
