Lifeskills South Florida Expands Comprehensive Mental Health And Addiction Services To Orlando
Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a prominent provider of mental health, addiction, and eating disorder treatment, has announced the expansion of Lifeskills South Florida’s services into Central Florida. The new Orlando location will offer residential and outpatient services aimed at treating adults with complex psychiatric and substance use disorders. Additionally, transitional living homes will provide further stability and support for those participating in outpatient programs.
According to recent data from the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Kaiser Family Foundation, over 15% of Florida adults have a mental health condition, with 32% reporting symptoms of anxiety or depression disorders. Furthermore, 648,000 adults in Florida suffer from serious mental health conditions. The state also surpasses the national average in drug overdose deaths.

Richard Clark, CEO of Odyssey, stated, "We’ve seen the complexity of our clients’ symptoms continue to increase nationwide over the last few years. Lifeskills is uniquely equipped to treat more clinically complex clients at a sub-acute level of care, and we’re proud to offer these services through one of the industry’s most well-respected treatment centres to help more individuals in need."
The Orlando facility was previously part of the Pasadena Villa Psychiatric Treatment Network. As part of a strategic realignment, Pasadena Villa will continue to provide residential mental health treatment for adults at their Tennessee locations and plans to expand into new markets later this year.
