LG Electronics Clinches AHRI Performance Award For Seventh Year Running

LG Electronics (LG) has once again been recognized for the superior quality and performance of its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions, receiving the prestigious Air-Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) Performance Award for the seventh consecutive year. This accolade highlights LG's commitment to delivering high-performing, efficient, and reliable HVAC solutions that meet the needs of consumers worldwide.

The AHRI Performance Award is a testament to LG's innovation in the HVAC industry. The award is given by AHRI, an international trade association representing manufacturers of HVAC, refrigeration, and water heating solutions. With a membership of over 350 companies from various countries and territories around the globe, AHRI is a respected authority in the industry. The evaluation process for the award is conducted by Intertek, a renowned third-party testing, certification, and inspection organization.

LG Wins AHRI Award Again

For the period spanning 2021 to 2023, a total of 62 LG HVAC solutions across six product categories successfully passed AHRI's stringent evaluation process. These categories include Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV), Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF), Unitary Small Heat Pump (USHP), Water-Cooled Chiller (WCCL), Air-Cooled Chiller (ACCL), and Air Handling Unit (AHU). Among the evaluated products was the Multi V large-capacity outdoor unit, which utilizes LG's acclaimed Inverter Compressor technology to deliver exceptional energy efficiency and powerful performance.

The Multi V system is particularly favored in Northern Hemisphere countries due to its ability to provide reliable indoor heating in extremely cold temperatures, reaching as low as negative 30 degrees Celsius. Another highlighted product is the Multi V S, a compact VRF solution designed for small offices and apartments with limited space. It features environmentally friendly refrigerant, LG's durable Ocean Black Fin technology, and advanced sensing control functionalities.

LG's AHU received the AHRI Performance Award for the first time, emphasizing its role in ensuring a fresh and comfortable indoor environment through effective heating, cooling, ventilation, and humidification control. LG's HVAC products are distinguished by their Core Tech technology, which includes key components such as compressors and motors developed and manufactured in-house. The company also invests heavily in research and development to advance technologies like heat exchangers, inverters, and heat pumps.

James Lee, head of the Air Solution Business Unit at LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company, expressed pride in receiving the AHRI Performance Award for seven consecutive years. He emphasized LG's commitment to expanding its global HVAC market presence by offering efficient and eco-conscious solutions that customers can rely on year after year.

LG's air conditioning solutions are designed to meet the diverse needs of various sectors and climates with a broad range of innovative systems. These systems deliver outstanding heating, ventilation, and air conditioning performance to buildings worldwide. LG's expertise and industry knowledge enable it to offer digitalized and eco-conscious HVAC solutions that respond directly to the needs of businesses seeking reliable technology partners.
