Laura Fischer Takes Helm As Chief Operating Officer At Integral Senior Living

Discovery Senior Living, a prominent name in the senior living industry, has recently announced a significant addition to its leadership team. Integral Senior Living (ISL), a part of Discovery's family of companies, has appointed Laura Fischer as its new Chief Operating Officer. Fischer brings to the table over two decades of experience in the senior living sector, making her a valuable asset to the ISL team.

Fischer's career in senior living spans more than 23 years, during which she has held several key positions. Before joining ISL, she served as the West Division Vice President for Brookdale Senior Living. In this role, Fischer was responsible for supporting over 300 communities across 18 states. Her extensive background also includes roles such as Vice President of Operations, Regional Director of Operations, and Executive Director. Additionally, Fischer is actively involved in the industry as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the California Assisted Living Association.

Collette Gray, President and CEO of Integral Senior Living, expressed enthusiasm about Fischer's appointment. In her new role as Chief Operating Officer, Fischer will oversee all operational functions within ISL. Her responsibilities will include setting performance and growth goals, as well as crafting and executing business strategies. Fischer, who was born and raised in the Bay Area, has spent most of her life in California. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona State University and is on track to complete her MBA in April of this year.
