Tribeca And HBO Celebrate Larry David Ahead Of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Series Finale
In a significant announcement, Tribeca and HBO have revealed plans for an exclusive event titled "An Evening with Larry David," scheduled for Friday, April 5, at 6:30 p.m. ET. This special gathering will be hosted at Warner Bros. Discovery at 30 Hudson Yards, welcoming both fans and Tribeca members. The event is set to precede the much-anticipated series finale of "CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM," which will air on Sunday, April 7, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will also be available for streaming on Max.
Larry David, the mastermind behind the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO Original comedy series, will take this opportunity to look back on the show's remarkable 12-season run. Jane Rosenthal, co-founder and CEO of Tribeca Enterprises, expressed her admiration for David's work, stating, "Larry David broke the mold with 'Seinfeld' and then rewrote the rules with 'Curb Your Enthusiasm.' His unique perspective and original voice has forever changed us." She also noted that bidding farewell to "Curb Your Enthusiasm" after 25 years marks a truly historic moment.

The evening promises to be unforgettable, featuring a never-before-seen highlight reel showcasing favorite scenes and moments from the beloved series that first graced television screens in 2000. Following the screening, Larry David will engage with the audience by answering their questions. The event will conclude with a reception.
"CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM" stars Larry David in an exaggerated portrayal of himself, navigating the trivial yet catastrophic chain of events that unfold in his day-to-day life. The show's unique format, shot without a script and allowing cast members to improvise their lines based on scene outlines, has contributed to its enduring success. The series boasts a talented ensemble cast including Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, J.B. Smoove, Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, Vince Vaughn, and Tracey Ullman.
