Lamborghini Surpasses Expectations With Stellar Financial Performance In 2023
In a landmark year for Automobili Lamborghini, the luxury car manufacturer has reported its most successful financial year to date. The company, based in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, has surpassed the significant milestone of delivering over 10,000 cars to customers worldwide in 2023, with a precise figure of 10,112 vehicles. This achievement is part of a broader pattern of growth and success for Lamborghini, as evidenced by their record-breaking financial figures for the year.
Lamborghini's revenues soared to Euro 2.66 billion, marking a 12.1% increase compared to 2022. The operating margin reached an all-time high of 27.2%, reflecting the company's efficiency and profitability in the luxury automotive sector. Moreover, the operating result for the year exceeded Euro 700 million for the first time, standing at Euro 723 million, which is 17.8% higher than the previous year.

Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, expressed pride in the company's achievements, stating that these records are a testament to the soundness of Lamborghini's strategy and vision. He also highlighted the exciting future ahead with the introduction of new models such as the Urus PHEV and the successor to the Huracán, alongside Lamborghini's entry into endurance championships with their new hybrid racing car, the SC63.
Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, echoed Winkelmann's sentiments. He emphasized the company's unprecedented financial and business performance in 2023, positioning Lamborghini as a leading global luxury player. Poma also pointed out that their solid order bank and sustainable Direzione Cor Tauri strategy set a promising stage for future growth.
The significance of Lamborghini's 2023 results is further underscored by the anticipation surrounding their upcoming models. The Revuelto is set to commence deliveries in 2024, with an order bank that covers production for more than two years. Additionally, both the Huracán and Urus models are approaching the end of their production cycles, to be replaced by new hybrid powertrains next year.
