JLL Indonesia Sets Benchmark With First WELL Platinum-certified Workplace For Well-being

JLL Indonesia has set a new standard in the country's office environments by being the first to receive the WELL Platinum Certification from the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). This prestigious recognition underscores JLL's dedication to enhancing employee well-being and promoting sustainability within its workspace. The WELL certification process assesses the impact of the built environment on health, focusing on air and water quality, access to healthy food, lighting, and mental well-being.

To surpass the certification's requirements, JLL Indonesia introduced several innovative measures. These include advanced Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) monitoring technologies, strategically placed hydration points, dedicated kitchen and dining areas, maximization of natural light, and diverse workstations. Additionally, thermal zone control systems, acoustic comfort measures, low VOC materials, integration of greenery, and comprehensive health programs have been implemented. The office also pays homage to local culture with murals depicting Indonesian landmarks and traditional dances.

Beyond WELL certification, JLL Indonesia has also earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification. Through innovative interior design, a smart lighting control system, and EnergyStar-rated equipment, the office has achieved a 32.2% reduction in energy consumption. Moreover, water usage has decreased by 25.37%, thanks to automated sensor features.
