Jeff Kinsey Elected Chair Of HLDI Board, Pledges To Boost Road Safety

Jeff Kinsey, serving as the assistant vice president and actuary at State Farm Insurance Companies, has recently been appointed as the chair of the Highway Loss Data Institute's (HLDI) Board of Directors. This announcement marks a significant leadership transition within the organization, with Kinsey succeeding Stefanie Zacchera, the vice president of personal lines data and analytics at The Hartford, who will continue her tenure on the Board.

"There is no better time than now to harness increasingly advanced data-gathering and analytical tools to reduce deaths, injuries, and property damage from motor vehicle crashes," expressed Kinsey regarding his new role. He further emphasized his commitment to advancing the mission of HLDI alongside its leaders and the Board.

David Harkey, president of HLDI and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, shared his enthusiasm for Kinsey's appointment. "We are excited to welcome Jeff as our Board chair," Harkey stated, looking forward to collaborating on new resources for member companies and developing an updated strategic plan for the organization.
