Back By Demand: Jeep® Brand Celebrates 4x4 Day 2024, Introducing Tuscadero On New 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Jeep® brand has officially announced the return of the Tuscadero exterior color, a vibrant chromatic magenta, for the new 2024 Jeep Wrangler. This reintroduction celebrates 4x4 Day 2024, responding to the high demand that saw around 30,000 orders for this unique shade during its initial offering in 2021. The Tuscadero color joins a series of vivid, special-run, limited-edition colors designed to add a personalized touch and appeal to the Jeep Wrangler directly from the factory.

Available for order now, the Tuscadero is priced at a U.S. MSRP of $895 and can be applied across several trim levels including Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392. Initially, it will be paired with options such as a black hardtop, body-color hardtop, or black soft-top. Additionally, a Sky One-Touch powertop in Tuscadero will be available later in Q2 2024.

Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America, expressed enthusiasm about bringing back the popular color. "We’re always looking to deliver what our customers tell us they want," he stated. The 2024 Jeep Wrangler now offers nine striking exterior colors including Tuscadero, Anvil (new for 2024), Earl, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Hydro Blue, Bright White, and black.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler continues to set standards in off-road capability while introducing new features such as an available full-float Dana rear axle, factory-installed 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, and increased 5,000-pound tow capability. Inside the vehicle, owners will find available 12-way power adjustable front seats, a standard 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio, and standard side curtain airbags in both rows.

Powertrain options for the Wrangler include a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, a 6.4-liter V-8 engine, and the plug-in hybrid 4xe. The latter combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged gas engine with two electric motors and a high-voltage battery pack to deliver an all-electric range of 21 miles and 49 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe).
