JA Solar DeepBlue 4.0 Pro Secures A+ Rating In Cold Climate Test By CGC

BEIJING, March 18, 2024 – JA Solar's latest innovation, the DeepBlue 4.0 Pro, has achieved a significant milestone by being awarded the prestigious A+ Rating Certificate in the Frontrunner Plus Cold Climate Field Test. This accolade was presented by the China General Certification Center (CGC), a renowned third-party technical service organization. The certification underscores the exceptional performance of JA Solar's n-type modules in cold weather conditions, marking a notable achievement in the photovoltaic (PV) industry.

The rigorous testing process began in 2023 at Mohe, home to China's northernmost PV experimental base. Throughout nearly a year of exposure to severe cold weather, including temperatures plummeting to -45.3 ℃ and snow thickness up to 20 cm, the DeepBlue 4.0 Pro demonstrated remarkable resilience and continued to operate efficiently. The test results highlighted no significant abnormalities in the EL imaging of the PV modules, and their mechanical performance remained robust.

The A+ Rating Certificate from CGC places DeepBlue 4.0 Pro among the first batch of recipients within the CGC PV Forerunner Plus Evaluation System.
