Pursuit Church Leads Interfaith Rally For Israel At University Of Southern California

The Pursuit NW, led by Pastor Russell Johnson, is gearing up to host the "United for Israel" rally at the University of Southern California. Scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 5:30 PM, the event aims to unite voices in support of Israel, starting from Exposition Blvd and culminating in a march to the USC campus. This initiative follows the significant turnout at a previous Pro-Israel rally at Columbia University, which attracted over 4,500 participants from diverse religious backgrounds.

In response to a growing concern over antisemitism on college campuses nationwide, The Pursuit NW has joined forces with Sean Feucht's Let Us Worship, Hold the Line, StandWithUs, and various Jewish and Christian organizations. Together, they seek to amplify the majority's perspective on Israel's rights and peace in the region, challenging the negative portrayals often seen in media. Pastor Johnson highlights the rally's focus on Israel's right to self-defense, the release of hostages, and the pursuit of peace.

Interfaith Israel Rally at USC

Building on the momentum of previous events like the Seattle march post-October 7th attacks on Israel, Pastor Johnson brings his experience and dedication to this cause. The Seattle gathering featured Mosab Hassan Yousef, known as the "Son of Hamas," who shared his inspiring journey. The Pursuit NW continues its mission from its Washington State base across multiple locations and online platforms, aiming to glorify Jesus and foster encounters with God's presence.
