InnoVent Renewables Bolsters Advisory Board With Energy Expert Lemar Marie Brown

In a significant move to bolster its strategic growth and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, InnoVent Renewables has announced the addition of Lemar Marie Brown to its Advisory Board. InnoVent Renewables, a technology and operations company known for its innovative approach to renewable energy, is on a mission to tackle the global environmental challenge posed by waste tires. The company's proprietary continuous pyrolysis technology is at the forefront of converting waste materials such as tires, plastics, and biomass into valuable fuels and chemicals.

With the setup of its first commercial plant in Monterrey, Mexico, InnoVent Renewables is poised for significant growth. Lemar Marie Brown's appointment comes at a crucial time as the company seeks to expand its footprint and enhance its ESG credentials. Brown brings a wealth of experience from her tenure at global giants like Shell plc and Goldman Sachs, coupled with her expertise in renewable energy sectors.

InnoVent Adds Expert to Board

Vibhu Sharma, CEO of InnoVent Renewables, expressed enthusiasm about Brown joining the team. "Lemar has rich experience working for global companies like Shell and Goldman Sachs as well as renewable energy and her proven success in capital projects and business development and her expertise guiding companies through strategic growth will be essential to helping InnoVent Renewables achieve our growth and ESG targets," Sharma noted.

Brown's track record includes negotiating and closing complex multi-party deals worth over $500 million each. Her 25 years of progressive engineering and leadership roles span across various sectors including oil & gas upstream, downstream, midstream, LNG, power, trading, and finance. As the founder and Managing Partner of Negocium Group, Brown has been instrumental in enabling organizational goals in negotiations, strategy, business planning, risk mitigation and management, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures (MA&D), and portfolio management.

Her role as an independent director of Certarus—a private Canadian company that provides low-carbon energy solutions—underscores her commitment to sustainable energy. Under her guidance, Certarus experienced rapid growth and more than doubled its adjusted EBITDA from 2020-2022, leading to a successful sale of the company in 2023 for $1.05 billion Canadian dollars.

"I am excited to join the InnoVent Renewables Advisory Board and support them in their ESG, strategy and growth initiatives," said Brown. "This is a unique opportunity to have a substantial positive impact on climate health, the circular economy, and the profitable growth of InnoVent Renewables."

InnoVent Renewables stands at the cusp of international expansion with operations already established in Houston (USA), Pune (India), and Monterrey (Mexico). The addition of Lemar Marie Brown to its Advisory Board is expected to significantly contribute to the company's strategic direction and efforts in promoting renewable energy solutions globally.
