INFINITI USA Faces 11.8% Sales Drop In First Quarter Of 2024 Despite QX50 Success

In a recent update from Nashville, Tennessee, INFINITI USA disclosed its vehicle delivery figures for the first quarter of 2024, revealing a decline of 11.8% with a total of 13,904 vehicles compared to the 15,757 units delivered during the same period in 2023. Despite this overall decrease, the QX50 crossover has seen a notable increase in consumer demand, with sales rising by 10% for the year.

Craig Keeys, Group Vice President of INFINITI Americas, reflected on the company's performance, noting the significant growth experienced in 2023 with vehicle deliveries surging nearly 40%. He expressed optimism about the future, particularly with the anticipation of the all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80 hitting the market. Keeys believes that this flagship model, alongside INFINITI's current product lineup, will be instrumental in enhancing client experiences and product offerings.

INFINITI Q1 Sales Down 11.8%

The detailed sales figures for INFINITI's lineup highlight varying performances across different models. The Q50 sedan saw a slight increase of 2.3%, with sales moving from 1,366 units in Q1 2023 to 1,397 units in the same period of 2024. Conversely, the Q60 experienced a significant drop of 90.1%, plummeting from 374 units to just 37 units year-over-year. The QX55 also faced a downturn, with sales decreasing by 19.8%.

On a brighter note, the QX50 crossover's popularity continues to grow, marking a 10.3% increase in sales from 2,330 units to 2,569 units. However, both the QX60 and QX80 models witnessed declines of 11.3% and 22.3%, respectively.
