'Immersive Hong Kong' Exhibition Opens In Kuala Lumpur, Showcasing City's Unique Appeal

The "Immersive Hong Kong" roving exhibition made its debut in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on March 5, marking its third appearance within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) after successful events in Indonesia and Thailand in July and October of the previous year. This initiative, aimed at promoting Hong Kong's unique attributes and opportunities through art technology, is part of a broader campaign to engage ASEAN countries. The exhibition is scheduled to welcome visitors at Pavilion Bukit Jalil until March 10.

Organized by the Information Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the exhibition is themed "Hong Kong - Where the World Looks Ahead". It aims to present the city's distinct strengths, advantages, and opportunities to the ASEAN community, encouraging exploration into potential business, investment, and tourism ventures in Hong Kong. Utilizing art technology, "Immersive Hong Kong" offers an engaging experience that allows visitors to delve into creative representations of the city.

The exhibition is divided into five thematic zones: "Financial Bridgehead", "I&T Brain Bank", "Blossoming Creativity", "Diversity and Greenery", and "Buzzing Sports Action". These zones feature interactive art projections and naked eye 3D displays that highlight the diverse appeal of Hong Kong. Additionally, a photo corner with visuals of Hong Kong's vibrant skyline by artist Messy Desk (Jane Lee) is available for visitors. Promotional videos and digital panels further elaborate on why Hong Kong remains a top destination for living, working, and investing.

A spokesperson for the Information Services Department expressed that the exhibition not only introduces the Malaysian community to the unique charm of Hong Kong as a cosmopolitan city but also showcases its creativity and character. The event promises a novel experience highlighting recent developments and various aspects of Hong Kong.

An interactive game titled "Snap a cool shot @Immersive Hong Kong" is featured, offering participants a chance to win one of 400 economy class round-trip air tickets from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong. The exhibition, which is free to enter, provides souvenirs for visitors and runs at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, a prominent shopping center in Kuala Lumpur, until March 10.
