Hyundai Tucson Unveils Refreshed Design And Enhanced Technology For European Market
Hyundai has unveiled an updated version of its Tucson SUV, a model that has enjoyed significant popularity in Europe since its introduction in 2004. The latest iteration of the Tucson, which is part of the fourth generation launched, has seen over 746,000 units produced for export across 60 countries. Germany, Spain, and the U.K. rank as the top European markets for this vehicle. The refresh includes a modernized design, cutting-edge technology, a variety of powertrain options, and enhanced features while maintaining its stylish appearance.
The exterior of the Tucson has been given a facelift with new bumpers, skid plates, and alloy wheels. Additionally, Hyundai has introduced five new color options to appeal to a broader audience. Inside, the SUV boasts a completely revamped interior designed for maximum comfort and convenience. Updates have been made to the dashboard, centre fascia, steering wheel, and centre armrest. Moreover, the seating now features a new pattern and comes in various material choices.

Technology enhancements are at the forefront of the Tucson's updates. The vehicle supports Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for maintenance and software improvements. It features a dual curved 12.3-inch display that serves both as the cluster and infotainment system, alongside a 12-inch projection Head-Up Display (HUD). Hyundai Digital Key 2.0 support and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are also included for an improved driving experience and safety.
Under the hood, the Tucson offers diverse powertrain options: internal combustion engine variants, mild hybrids, pure hybrids, and plug-in hybrids. Notably, the plug-in hybrid version introduces the second generation of Green Zone Driving Mode. This feature enables automatic switching to electric operation in designated low-emission zones. Both hybrid models incorporate Paddle Regenerative Braking Mode to boost convenience and fuel efficiency.
Hyundai's dedication to eco-friendly mobility is evident in these updates. Although the new Tucson is not yet available for purchase and its fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have not been specified, Hyundai's commitment to sustainability is clear. The company aims to sell exclusively zero-tailpipe-emission vehicles in Europe by 2035.
Hyundai Motor Europe HQ oversees vehicle sales in 47 European countries, holding a market share of 4.2 percent. The company's production facilities in Czechia and Turkey are tailored to meet the specific demands of European customers. Hyundai's portfolio includes a wide range of electrified vehicles as part of its sustainability commitment. The forthcoming next-generation Kona Electric and the high-performance IONIQ 5 N are set to launch in Europe later this year.
Every new Hyundai car sold in Europe comes with a Five-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty package, underscoring Hyundai's confidence in its product quality and commitment to customer satisfaction. This warranty is part of Hyundai's effort to provide value and peace of mind to its customers.
