Hyundai Unveils First European Brand Space On Amazon To Boost Digital Engagement
In a strategic move to enhance digital engagement and customer-centricity, Hyundai Motor Europe has announced the launch of its first Brand Space on Amazon. This innovative digital hub, set to debut in Germany in April 2024, aims to offer customers a comprehensive insight into Hyundai's heritage, technological advancements, and sustainability efforts. By integrating this Brand Space within the Amazon store, Hyundai is not only looking to introduce its brand to new audiences but also to drive awareness and consideration among the store's vast customer base.
Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Marketing, Product & PR of Hyundai Motor Europe, emphasized the significance of this collaboration with Amazon. He stated, "Our collaboration with Amazon represents Hyundai’s strong commitment to meet customers’ demands on a channel they are already familiar with." This partnership is expected to leverage Amazon's extensive reach and the trust it commands among consumers, thereby bringing Hyundai closer to potential customers.
The Brand Space is designed to guide Amazon customers through their journey with Hyundai, from initial awareness to considering a purchase. Display ads within the Amazon store will direct customers to this dedicated space where they can explore various content related to Hyundai's product lineup. Furthermore, opportunities will be provided for customers to navigate to local Hyundai websites for more detailed product information, digital car configuration, or even scheduling test drives at local dealerships.
Nils Gräf, Managing Director of Amazon Ads in Germany, expressed enthusiasm about extending their strategic partnership with Hyundai into Europe. He highlighted the innovative approach of introducing prospective customers to the Hyundai brand through a familiar shopping experience while supporting local dealerships.
Hyundai Motor Europe HQ, established in 2000 and based in Offenbach, Germany, serves as the regional headquarters overseeing vehicle sales across 47 European countries. The company boasts a significant market share and is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, with a considerable portion of its sales comprising zero-tailpipe-emission vehicles (BEVs and FCEVs). With plans to exclusively sell zero-tailpipe-emission vehicles in Europe by 2035, Hyundai is reinforcing its position as a leader in the electric vehicle market. The introduction of more BEVs, including the next-generation Kona Electric and the high-performance IONIQ 5 N, underscores this commitment.
Hyundai's dedication to customer satisfaction is further demonstrated through its unique Five-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty package offered with all new cars sold in the region. This comprehensive package includes a five-year warranty without a mileage limit, five years of roadside assistance, and five years of vehicle health checks.
