Huawei Continues Reign As Top Employer In Europe For Fifth Consecutive Year

Düsseldorf, Germany – Huawei has been honoured as a "Top Employer" in Europe for the year 2024, marking the fifth consecutive year the technology giant has received this accolade. The recognition comes from the Top Employers Institute, a global authority in the certification of excellence in human resources management. This year, Huawei not only secured its position as a top employer across Europe but also gained individual recognition in 16 European countries, including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK.

The Top Employers Institute has certified over 2,300 organizations in 121 countries/regions worldwide, collectively employing more than 12 million people. Patrik Rendel, Regional Manager DACH & CEE at the Top Employers Institute, praised Huawei Europe for its exceptional career development opportunities at all levels. According to Rendel, Huawei's performance is 15% above the total benchmarks set by all Top Employers.

Lesley White, Deputy Vice President of Human Resources at Huawei European Region, expressed pride in the company's continuous recognition as a top employer. White highlighted that talent is a crucial part of Huawei's business strategy both in Europe and globally. With over 20 years of presence in Europe, Huawei has demonstrated its commitment to innovative people management practices. In a recent announcement, Huawei revealed that the Europe edition of Seeds for the Future will take place in Rome, Italy in 2024.
