Hong Kong To Launch First Smart Lighting Expo In April 2024, Showcasing Future Innovations

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is set to launch an inaugural event, the Smart Lighting Expo, which will run concurrently with the 15th edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition). Scheduled from 6-9 April 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, this event is themed "Bright Lighting * Smart Living." It aims to spotlight the burgeoning smart lighting market, projected to hit US$25.3 billion this year. The expo will feature an array of products and solutions ranging from connected lighting technologies to smart lighting products and solutions, addressing the market's rapid growth.

The Smart Ecosystem and IoT Supply Chain Area will be a key highlight, showcasing industry leaders such as Midea, Sunricher, and Merrytek. Additionally, group pavilions from prominent lighting industry bases in the Greater Bay Area will be present. Noteworthy products include Helvar's flagship 950 DALI-2 multi-master application controller, Liricco Technologies' energy-saving Wireless T8 LED tube with motion and lux sensors, Hangzhou Sky-Lighting's smart ceiling lights and bulbs, Yunfan Ruida Technology's mmWave radar solution for smart homes and elderly care, and Ningbo Xiaojiang IoT Technology's smart lighting control system.
