Home Telecom Acquires TalkTalk Customers, Promises Seamless Transition

In a strategic move that underscores its commitment to enhancing customer service and expanding its market presence, Home Telecom, a subsidiary of Telecom Acquisitions Group, has announced the acquisition of TalkTalk customers previously signed up with Cuckoo Internet. This development is noteworthy as Cuckoo Internet has been recognized as the top broadband provider for customer service by MoneySavingExpert consecutively.

TAL Managing Director, Nigel Barnett, reassured customers, stating, "We can reassure customers that all Cuckoo Internet terms and prices will remain the same." He further clarified that the transition would be smooth, involving merely an account migration that would not disrupt any services. This seamless transition ensures that the quality of internet connection provided through TalkTalk and BT remains unaffected.

TalkTalk Users Move to Home Telecom

The acquisition significantly boosts TAL's customer base to approximately 100,000. This growth is part of TAL's broader strategy to enhance its service offerings and support through partnerships or acquisitions. To date, eleven ISPs offering broadband services to residential customers have aligned with TAL for ongoing service and support.

Barnett elaborated on TAL's growth strategy, aiming for an organic increase of about 3,000 customers monthly. This growth is further accelerated by acquiring residential bases from broadband providers pivoting towards the B2B sector. He highlighted the dynamic shifts within the internet provider landscape, noting the entrance of new AltNets driving competitive pricing and the annual price increases by suppliers to reseller partners.

Under TAL's umbrella are several brands catering to diverse customer needs. Home Telecom specializes in the tenant market, offering flexible contracts and services from major providers like BT, TalkTalk, Virgin, Sky, Vodafone, and several altNets. Fleur Telecom supports over 25,000 customers either abandoned by larger providers or left without service due to their supplier ceasing operations. Additionally, Eclipse Telecom now serves 10,000 former KCOM customers outside Hull.

Barnett emphasized the company's commitment to continuous improvement with the motto "we can do better." He highlighted their extensive Trust Pilot reviews rated 'Excellent', showcasing their dedication to customer satisfaction. Customers can easily find the best service available to them through a simple postcode checker.

This acquisition not only strengthens TAL's position in the market but also ensures that customers of Cuckoo Internet continue to receive exceptional service without any disruption. For further information or comments, Nigel Barnett can be contacted via email at [email protected].
