Each artist brings a unique exploration of reality through their work, challenging viewers to delve into the abstract.
Elio D’Anna, co-founder of HOFA, expressed his enthusiasm for participating in an event that has consistently been at the forefront of contemporary art innovation. "Art Central is renowned for pushing the boundaries of contemporary art since its inception and HOFA is proud to exhibit alongside Asia's most innovative galleries alongside distinguished artists from around the world," he stated. The 2024 edition of Art Central will see HOFA presenting a diverse range of contemporary subjects that explore profound connections between mind, matter, and nature.

Ilhwa Kim is celebrated for her mastery in creating contemplative art. Her works are a testament to patience and precision, manipulating depth and space to evoke imagery that invites personal interpretation.
Jan Kaláb’s multidisciplinary approach reflects a spectrum of spontaneity and controlled geometric forms. His work is a documentation of experimentation with various mediums and motions.
Mary Ronayne captures the dynamic energy of her subjects with fluid enamel. Her figurative yet abstract compositions radiate playfulness and control, engaging viewers with their captivating aesthetic.
Hannes Schauer offers a refuge for quiet contemplation through his art. His intuitive process involves splashing highly diluted ink and acrylic paint on canvases laid on the floor, creating pieces that resonate with nature’s spiritual essence.
Alejandro Monge challenges traditional two-dimensional art with his sculptural portraits. Influenced by Caravaggio and John Singer Sargent, Monge’s works possess a hyperrealistic allure that deceives the observer’s vision.
Li Jie’s dedication to oil painting research shines through his work. His experimentation with depth, layering, and structure offers a compelling perspective that captivates audiences worldwide.
Breakfast pushes computer-driven kinetic art to new heights. Their work integrates deep concepts with software and hardware to offer interactive experiences that narrate profound stories of our transforming world.
Sougwen Chung explores human-machine collaboration. Her groundbreaking work showcases the intricate interplay between hand-made and machine-made marks, transcending conventional artistic boundaries.
The 'Abstract Actuality' exhibition at HOFA Gallery (Booth B11) during Art Central Hong Kong from 28 – 31 March 2024 promises to be a highlight for art enthusiasts and collectors alike. With its diverse range of artists and innovative explorations of reality, HOFA continues to contribute significantly to the global contemporary art scene.
