Leveraging generative AI to boost efficiency and personalization, Henkel, a global leader in consumer goods, has announced an expanded partnership with Adobe. This collaboration aims to enhance Henkel's digital marketing strategies by integrating Adobe Firefly and Adobe Experience Cloud into its digital business platform, RAQN. The announcement was made on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in Düsseldorf, Germany, marking a significant step towards revolutionizing content production and personalization at scale.

Through this pilot project, Henkel will utilize Adobe Firefly Custom Models to train generative AI models with its own assets. This initiative is set to transform the way content is produced, enabling rapid creation of personalized visual assets that adhere to brand standards and are safe for commercial use. Specifically, this technology will empower teams behind Henkel's hair care brand Schwarzkopf to generate customized content based on individual consumer attributes like hair color, style, or length.

Michael Nilles, Chief Digital & Information Officer at Henkel, emphasized the disruptive potential of generative AI in economy and society, likening its impact to that of the internet but at a much faster pace. He highlighted the goal of advancing content and marketing workflows through responsible use of generative AI.

"With Adobe Firefly and Adobe Experience Cloud, Henkel is leveraging natively integrated generative AI capabilities to power its digital strategy and set a new standard around efficiency," Dammann noted.
