Under this new scheme, GWM ORA's in-house technical experts will play a crucial role in determining the safety and repairability of the batteries. The initiative is further bolstered by the brand's UK-based aftersales and logistics centre, where batteries deemed fit for use will undergo refurbishment to align with the manufacturer's stringent standards. This service is facilitated in the UK through a strategic partnership with International Motors Limited (IML), which provides an extensive operational network essential for the initiative's success.

The battery inspection and evaluation service offered by GWM ORA's aftersales team is a testament to the brand's robust environmental ethos. This is further exemplified by the ORA 03, GWM ORA's flagship product, which has garnered a five-star Green rating from Green NCAP, an independent testing initiative. The ORA 03 is available in two variants in the UK market: the PURE+ and the PRO+. The PURE+ variant features a 48kWh battery capable of covering 193 miles as per WLTP standards, while the PRO+ variant is equipped with a 63kWh battery, extending its range to 260 miles and includes additional comfort features.

GWM ORA has achieved a notable milestone with 1,000 vehicles now navigating UK roads. This achievement is supported by an expanding retail infrastructure comprising 18 trusted partners. The leasing options for the ORA 03 start at £239 per month, making it an accessible choice for consumers seeking sustainable mobility solutions.
